howdy everyone i love you hha. i got transfered to this new area and its awesome!! ive already put on a few pounds so thats a good thing for sure haha. the members here are awesome!! theres like 200 or more active members!

when i got here we literally had no investigators... 0... and the area book had nothing so that was rough. kinda like starting over. but hey its been good. we found 9 new people to teach this week so that was good. 

wow ill be honest with you all im amazed at how much ive grown, not only physicaly but spiritually. its really awesome. this week i learned a lot of things, had a lot of really amazing experiences that honestly im amazed. ill tell yall in 18 months haha. but its really good out here the work is going well, i look back at who i was and im blown away. but just wow haha.

Howdy yall Feb 11, 2019

hey so i dont have much time.... so ill be brief. or breif... not sure haha.

anyways pretty much im heading to a new area called demetrio acosta 3. and my new comp is gonna be Elder Vealreal from bolivia. its gonna be good im stoked.

ill tell ya what saying goodbye to families that literally become your fam is hard. its like leaving home over, and over, and over again. its really sad honestly. but the good thing is how much these people have grown. one family in particular. the chavez family. i cried for 30 mins last night no joke because of how much ill miss them, we talked and talked and shared experiences and it was so awesome. they are amazing and are working so hard in their callings even though they just barely got baptized, they are amazing. 

anyways more to come next week cuz were headed to say goodbye to everyone. but love you all!! love those who are around you!!

Week... not sure haha Feb 4 2019

this week was a goodie as per usual haha. obviosly not all is fun and games but when you look for the good you find it, (same with the bad)

anyways things are going well, we had an interchange, i had cereal for the first time in almost 6 months... lifechanging i must say. 

this next week its pretty likely that i get transferred out of patapo which is 2 bad but i know its all part of a plan. honestly ive gotta give at least a little bit of a shoutout to these people, they are awesome, this ward has grown, not only in numbers but the members have grown so much and im so grateful for all of them, especially my ward mission leader brother edson. he really is the mvp. hes helped me through quite a bit of hard days or even weeks, that guy is awesome. 

one really cool thing from this week was finding 2 families. both without a dad. and the kids, all boys are about my age and they just totally opened up to me like i was their big brother. which really hit me, ive always wondered why im the oldest in my fam, its kinda hard being the example sometimes, (hard to be a good example anyways) but these families really helped me see why im the oldest, so i could help them and relate to them, also this week i got an answer to this same question from BOTH my mom who i absolutley love so darn much and im so grateful for her and whi has helped me become who i am today and who i can become in the future... AND my step mom who i love so darn much and has done so much for me in helping me prepare for this sacred time on the mission.  SHOUTOUT to all the moms, you guys are awesome. 

haha i got another haircut and ill tell ya what my hair just cant catch a break lol. someday it will look normal hahaha...

so we had a super spiritual expirience in english connect which is the class i teach, i decided to teach a silent (or quiet) lesson after about jesus christ and i dont have much time to say everything that happend, ill tell you what we all felt the spirit. and it was a great experience... i was crying pretty hard which its a good thing im so far from you all right now cuz im an ugly cryer... i think haha. im ugly anyways let alone a crying elder allred hahahaha. anyways i love you all so much!! hope youre week is soooooo awesome!!!

guys how are ya??? 

hope youre all doing well! i love hearing from you all and all the support you give me. its the bestest. 

This week was a good one!! not gonna lie, not every week is a good week. but i can say that good things happen every week, miracles even. every week so its been a good thing to keep looking for those!!

missionary work is incredible. honestly its quite somethimg. i cant really describe it, and to be honest without doing it you couldnt really know, you literally feel every emotion... almost every day haha. and its the best thing ever. 

we had a baptism this week and it was really special!! the hermana that got baptized is awesome. we found her and her mom one day and contacted them. and boom one month later she got baptized. it stood as a testimony to me that there are always people ready for this message. sometimes we think ( as missionaries) awe this person is so close!! just not quite there. but what ive found is what it says in doctrine and covanants. that 1st the field is white and ready to harvest, (not yellow and almost ready). and 2nd that someday everyones gonna hear this message when the savior comes again. the lord promised us those 2 things, and I, Elder Phoenix Allred. Know without a shadow of doubt that the lord fulfills his promises. 

to finish up this email, i really hope you are all doing well. i love hearing what youre up to and how things are. please, if theres anything i can do for you, super duper far away, let me know. because i love and care about every single one of you. 

im gonna put a quote form an email i got this week from a good old pal from brighton whos also serving in peru (just a different part) but i really liked it so here ya go haha

Good things to an end Jan 1, 2019

these few weeks have been great... but ill tell ya what today was a way sad day, i said goodbye to my bestest buddy for 12 weeks. elder salas. he was literally a brother to me, one of the most amazing people ive ever met. honestly ME, except from argentina. you would all absolutley love him, that is assuming you love me lol. he went to jaen which is 7 hours from here so i might not see him for a while. 

But the good news is today i got a new comp, his name is elder Oré. from peru. i dont know much about him because he doesnt talk much but im sure ill know more by next week. 

christmas was way good!! we played basketball that was awesome haha, im terrible now so thats to bad haha. 

anyways i sure love you all!! love hearing from you thank you all for your support!!!

im just gonna say how much i love hearing from all of you!!!!! its awesome sauce. 

this week was a good week. long, but way good!! we had a multi zone and that was a good time. learned a ton from our mission president!! as usual haha hes so smart. 

i started the book of Alma in the book of mormon today. man ill tell you what the book of mormon, i dont care what anyone says, that book is the truth. 100 percent. 

i had a cool experience i wanna tell yall haha. so we were walking one say and i felt like i should knock this door of an investigator we have. i shook it off at first, then felt it again... so i knocked it, she wasnt there but her son was and he invited us to share with him, we did. taught about the plan of salvation which is awesome, then invited him to be baptized. so cool how the lorn works sometimes. 

we had a baptism this week and it was so cool, her name is Raiza and it was a great thing, such a cool experience. baptisms are awesome and everyone can feel the spirit so strongly. anyways i love you all so much. im so grateful for all you guys do for me and all the support.
