howdy everyone!! i sure miss you all!! things are going really pretty well. this week was good! and last week 2. im sorry i havent written much theres just no time and so much to do haha. but im gonna do better of writing more. 

to start out i would like to start with a cool experience. last week i finished the book of mormon again. and it was awesome. but whats cooler is i started again with a brand new book of mormon, i decided i would go through and mark every time is mentions chist, in 1st nephi alone (the first book, or 53 pages) it mentions the savior 528 times, maybe more. BOOM ANOTHER TESTAMENT OF JESUS CHRIST!! i literally thought that was so cool. 

also we had an interchange with the new district leader this week and it was awesome, he literally knows so much about being a missionary. i really learned quite a bit from him and how i can become a better servant of our savior. 

to finish up, yo sé que lo que estoy haciendo es lo que el señor me mande. este es su iglesia, no tengo ninguna duda. sé de que en realidad el libro de mormon es la palabra de dios. sé de que josé smit fue un profeta llamada para dirigir y restaurar la iglesia de JESUCRISTO de los santos de los ultimos dias. Sé de que hoy en dia tenemos un profeta viviente que se llama Russel M Nelson. El tiene las llaves del sacerdocio, y el es llamado por dios. Les amo bastante.

how are you all??? dont have much time but know im doing well!! sure miss elder salas but hes in good hands, this week was good. were working really hard to get the people we have to their baptism date. really theres not much time. and im not sure if the photos are working or not so this might be all but know i love you all, and i knopw what im doing is what i need to be doing. love you all!! youre in my prayers!!

ALMOST CHRISTMAS Dec 17, 2018

sure love you all, this is literally such a good time. the mission really is awesome. this week, i maybe had the most spiritual experience ive had, for sure here on the mission but maybe ever. so just to be brief:

thursday morning we had personal study time, and i felt like i should pray to find something that would help one of our investigators named alonzo. well, after a little bit i came across Helaman 5:30 and it talks about the spirit and one way we can hear it. i thought eh im not sure who this is for but its for someone. later that day we had a lesson with an hermana Yury. and she asked how she could get an answer. in the moment i felt like this wasnt the time to share that scripture and i had no idea why, so i didnt. then. later that night we had a lesson with hermano Julio and his son decided to listen as well. hes 17 and wow. i was impressed he wanted to listen, after 10 mins or so he started participating. and asking questions. in that moment i saw something in his eyes, literally a light, he asked about baptism cuz his dad is wanting to be baptized as well, we explained it. then he shared a very personal experience with us. and i was about to cry, for the first time here in the field, i almost lost it. in that moment i felt to share that scripture, a few words that stood out to me, and to him was "perfect softness" thats how the spirit speaks, with a perfect softness. and ill tell ya what ive never been so touched by the spirit and felt gods love so strongly. it was amazing, we asked him to close with a prayer. and when he finished him, his dad, his grandma, and us were just filled with love, i had a gallon of tears in my eyes. but they didnt come out surprisingly.

anyways this week was awesome. 2 interchanges so that was crazy!! were just living it up before elder salas leaves this next change!! working hard, learnig, and spreading the gospel. sure love you all!! i dont think ill be able to write next week cuz ill be skyping my fam but i love ya!! catch ya in a few and merry CHRISTMAS!!!!

I have literally 8 mins cuz we have an appt, but i have a few pics, i love you guys so much!! this week we helped a fam get married, then baptized it was the best. I aslo got sick for the first time.. . Durisimo!!!! love you all haha

Week 15 Dec 3, 2018

This week was awesome, really dont have much time to write about it. but ive got a few pics, and a short message haha. 

This month is super special of course. Everyone knows that, but its interesting being on this side of things. A lot of people belive in Jesus Christ, especially here in Peru. BUt not many people know of everything he did for us. Its really special teaching people the plentitude of the Gospel. This month were focusing really hard on Jesus Christ and on the christmas spirit and its going well, super weel its awesome. 

First christmas without you all, without snow, utah. Its gonna be way tough thats for darn sure but im sure it will be good, weve already started to see a few christmas miracles so im excited to see what comes!! 

I sure love you all and love hearing from you!! sorry i dont have a ton of time to respond but know that my short responses are full of tons of love! love yall!!

So, elder salas is the new district leader. This elder is beyond qualified id say, really hes so humble about it and hes perfect for the job. Whats funny is that ive had 2 companions, both have been district leaders so id say im getting pretty good at being the district leaders companion!

 this week was crazy, the hardest weve worked so far, i think haha. also the best week so far so i think theres a connection haha. 

all of our #s went up this week, but really these people arent #s, these people consider us family, these people have nothing, yet they give so much to us. these people are some of the happiest people ive ever met, and these people know that jesus loves them and thats the most important haha.

really this work is awesome, for all of you who are preparing for a mission or thinking about serving one i would 100percent recommend it, its by far the hardest thing in the world, but the miracles that you see every day, the people you bring into christ. the relationships you build, make it all worth it, i cant really talk cuz ive olny got a few months but really its awesome. 

anyways i sure love you all!! love to hear from ya!!

this week was good, superrrrrrrrrr fast. not much to say, but we have 6 baptisms for december and have goals for a ton more, were working really hard to bring souls unto christ. its really hard but it is incredible to see even a little results. its awesome. haha one thing that i thought of this week was that in english im a completly different person than in spanish. its actually funny, i cant remember how to speak english, but i cant speak spanish perfect quite yet haha. it reminded me of the toy story with buzz lightyear when he gets switched to spanish mode haha. thats pretty much me, its a good time. this sunday we were gonna sing a special hymn in english and spanish but it didnt quite work out so next week lol. this change is almost over and i hope and pray every day that i have the same trainer for the next change 2. hes awesome, we get along like brothers and every day we find ways to have fun and enjoy this precious time more haha. within the rules of course, really, we are very obedient. we just look for things to do that are fun like practice going on dates in english and spanish haha. that sounds, not good but its not quite what it sounds, you can trust me were doing the things we should. anyways things are good here in peru patapo. i sure love yall and miss yall!! have a great week!!
