This week were gonna go open up an area called Artesanos and I'm so stoked. I'll still be with my comp rn who is Elder Avendaño. He's a tank from Chile for those who don't know. Anyways were way excited haha. This week was kinda hard saying goodbye to some of the people were teaching. But it was way good, there was a few that wanted to get baptized this week so were gonna see if good old elder Blood can take care of business haha. Maybe I'll tell you why this is happening, it might be fun to know. Anyways this change 18 missionaries are going home and only 6 get here. so they have to close a bunch of areas. We met with the stake president and the mission president like 3 weeks ago in a meeting called llaves alineadas to decide what area to close. After talking about it with them we decided that Moshoqueque was a good option because of the results that the missionaries have had here up until this point and the support we've gotten here. So we decided it would be best to close this area and put the Zone Leaders (us) in Artesanos. So tomorrow were gonna head over there and not know anyone but its will be a good time haha. Were honestly way stoked!!!

This week we had a cool experience with a sister named sharon. Weve been teaching her for for a few weeks and had a baptismal date for the 24th of august. well we met with her on tuesday and things got really serious for a second in the appointment, she then said... "elders i wanna change my baptismal date" we were like awe crap shes gonna say in like 4 years. She then was like "i wanna get baptized sooner, like 3 weeks sooner..." it was awesome and really it helped me understand the importance of teaching well. I've come to understand that when we teach understandably, that's when the gospel starts to change lives.
I also gave a talk this Sunday, the bishop out of the blue was like hey elder can you talk today???... in 15 mins haha. so i winged it but it went really well, I was able to understand a little bit better the sacrament. Read John 6:54.
Sure love you all tons, I wish I had pics to send... wait I do haha one sec.
Elder Allred
