The Malca family Mon, Aug 5, 2019, 4:20 PM

 This week was great, so like I told yall last week we came here to Artesanos. Its been sweet!! honestly it has been a great change. the members here are so stoked to help us out and its been a huge blessing. Our area is huge, legit we went to the other limit of it on Thursday and Friday and it took like 20 mins in a moto, its huge haha. We've been trying hard to get to know the people, the investigators the members and all. Its really been awesome. Way humbling as you can imagine but its been a great opportunity to grow. We got here and started teaching a fam of 6 and they are sweet, the Malca family. they all have a baptismal date for the 17th of this month, and they all came to church on Sunday it was awesome. 

Another cool thing that happened this week was that our 2nd day here this member called us and was like hey my friend from the jungle is here and i told him about the church and he wants to hear more. so we went and taught him and it was awesome, he understood so fast that he said himself. "wow i need to get baptized by someone who has the priesthood then" the only bad thing was that he went back to the jungle but it was still a good experience. 

Last night we were putting together a meeting that we have every month called the zone plan, so me and my comp were doing that when out of nowhere we get a call from a number we didn't have in the phone and didn't know who it was haha. it was an investigator we had in our old ward named Sharon, she was all sad cuz we left. but she said "hey so even though the other elders are teaching me, can you still baptize me?" it was way out of the blue but it sure made our day haha. 

Today in the meeting we had we talked about a ton of things to help our zone out. One thing that me and my comp have been trying to do is teach the gospel the way it needs to be taught, im not really sure how to say it in English so bear with me haha. but like a ¿mature teaching? im not sure if that makes sense but we've been working on that, what I'm trying to say is a teaching that satisfies the needs of the people, to be honest that makes a lot more sense in Spanish so sorry haha. but just smile and act like what I say makes sense. the thing is is that we've been working a ton on that and its changed the game for reals its been awesome. 

Sure love you all!! time goes by fast... way 2 fast. this month I finish one year and its changed my life like you don't even know. the mission has changed me, I say it all the time and I'm sorry but this has been the best time of my whole life. I've really seen miracles, I've seen people change, I've seen myself change. its incredible how true this gospel is. THIS IS THE CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST HIMSELF. there's not any doubt in my mind or my heart. I love you so much. thank you for your support.
